BALTIMORE (AP) — A crash involving multiple vehicles closed all lanes on the heavily-traveled U.S. 50 Bay Bridge in Maryland on Saturday and motorists were advised to expect major delays, authorities said. Rui Jiang, 35, was arrested Sunday at the Park Valley Church in Haymarket, Virginia, the Prince William County Police Department said in a statement. The Prince William County Public Defender’s Office declined to identify his attorney to CNN. Jiang wasn’t at the residence, but investigators were also able to give a description of his vehicle to officers in Prince William County. (AP) — Lawyers agreed Thursday to a May trial date for a Maryland man facing hate crime charges after authorities said he fatally shot three Latino men and wounded three other people during a parking dispute earlier this year in the state's capital city. Attorneys agreed to begin jury selection for next year's trial on May 31, with the trial expected to run until June 17. The three who were shot to death — 27-year-old Mario Mireles, his 55-year-old father Nicholas Mireles and 25-year-old Christian Segovia — were Latino. Smith surrendered when the police arrived at his house on the night of the shooting.

It's actually Meade High School in Fort Meade, Maryland, and the listing is believed to be a senior prank. The students at Meade aren't the first to list their school for sale for their senior prank. In 2018, seniors at Auburn High School in Rockford, Illinois, put their school on Craigslist for $2,018.

Quick-thinking kayakers are being hailed as heroes after helping rescue a pilot whose single-engine plane crashed Monday morning into an icy creek in Maryland, authorities said.
